Pablo Sarabia and Rayan Ait-Nouri are expected to be available for Wolves’ Sunday, January 28 matchup against West Brom at The Hawthorns, according to Gary O’Neil.
Given that some Wolves players are either ill or occupied with international service, the Baggies could have a genuine chance to go to the FA Cup Fifth Round despite the disparity in their league standings.
Joao Gomes, Hwang Hee-Chan, and Boubacar Traore, who have zero chance of appearing in the derby, are the three players that The Express & Star have revealed would not be participating.
During his latest press conference, O’Neil began by discussing the two players who would be returning: “Rayan [Ait-Nouri] will be back and in the squad.”
Pablo hasn’t trained yet due to a knock to his calf, but I think he will be OK. We have him under observation. The remaining boys are doing well and finished their training today. It will be crucial to us that Pablo be well.
Gomes, meanwhile, is currently serving a suspension because Hwang and Traore are currently absent from the Asia Cup and the African Cup of Nations, respectively.
