A recently reopened premium lounge is available to travelers departing from Dulles International Airport (IAD), which is located close to Washington, D.C. For travelers using the Chase Sapphire Reserve® card, it is currently free of charge.

After undergoing a significant renovation, Etihad Airways’ Dulles lounge discreetly reopened this week, joining Chase’s expanding collection of Sapphire Lounges.
The club is still referred to as an Etihad Lounge officially. As soon as you get into the area along Dulles’ A concourse, the airline’s branding is still clearly visible.
However, the location is a joint venture between JPMorgan Chase and airport lounge operator Airport Dimensions, according to Etihad’s website.
There are many features on the two-story club that are identical to those in other clubs in Chase’s Sapphire Lounge portfolio, such as a family area and a place for introspection.
In fact, the words “Sapphire Lounge by The Club” are emblazoned on the front desk itself. Several additional Chase lounges, including those at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA), go by this formal name.
Surprisingly, though, there was no formal notice from Chase, Etihad, or Priority Pass when this lounge launched.
In order to see the space for myself, I changed my trip schedule and purchased a ticket through Dulles last weekend.
