According to reports, the Phoenix Suns are considering buying PG Delon Wright.

The Phoenix Suns are presently keeping an eye on the prospective buyout situation of Washington Wizards point guard Delon Wright, according to Michael Scotto of USA Today Due to Jordan Goodwin’s move to the Grizzlies, the Suns are forced to rely mostly on Devin Booker to fill the void at point guard.

Wright was chosen by the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft, and he has since played for six different teams. He has spent the last 1.5 seasons with the Wizards.

Tyus Jones has taken over as the Wizards’ starting point guard this season, greatly reducing Wright’s role. Wright has also struggled with injuries, which has kept him from playing more than 13.8 minutes and 4.1 points per game on average.

In addition, he has a career-low shooting percentage of less than.400, which may have been impacted by the strained left knee injury he sustained in November. Wright scored ten or more goals 13 times last year, but he has only done it once this season.

Wright’s purchase status will be decided by the Washington Wizards on February 29th.
