Arsenal confirmed line up against Chelsea

In the opening round of today’s London derby between Chelsea and Arsenal, Reece James was defeated.

Following the injuries to Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja, Mauricio Pochettino has picked a team with Raheem Sterling in the central striker position.

While Malo Gusto is back from his suspension to start at right-back, Mykhailo Mudryk and Cole Palmer will flank Sterling in attack. The latter has recovered from a knock sustained during the international break.

This week, Trevoh Chalobah, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Romeo Lavia all missed games for Chelsea due to injuries.

On the sidelines, they are joined by Broja, Christopher Nkunku, Wesley Fofana, Ben Chilwell, and Marcus Bettinelli.

A late fitness test was required for striker Jackson after minor surgery was performed on a wrist injury he experienced against Brighton last month.

Benoit Badiashile, who is back, is sitting on the bench with Jackson, James, and Axel Disasi.
