Current rumors and news about Tottenham Hotspur, including Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie’s reported injuries as Ange Postecoglou gets ready to play Wolves in the Premier League.
Tottenham Hotspur is getting ready to play Wolves in their Premier League return this coming weekend.
Spurs will be hoping to beat the Wolves and further profit from Aston Villa’s loss to Manchester United. Due to the results of last weekend’s games, Tottenham surged into the top four of the Premier League, and after playing Wolves, they will aim to hold that place.
Although Ange Postecoglou’s club is one point clear of fifth-place Villa, who take on Fulham this weekend, they are seven points behind leaders Liverpool in fourth place. With numerous key players out, Spurs will need to try and get the three points against Wolves.
Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie, full-backs, were officially ruled out of the Wolves match on Friday. Both players have been essential to Tottenham’s success thus far this season, but they will be out for this weekend’s match in North London owing to injuries.
Following an injury sustained during training, Porro will miss at least a few weeks of action, according to Postecoglou. While Udogie sustained an injury during last week’s victory over Brighton, Postecoglou is confident that the left-back will make a quick recovery.
Postecoglou told reporters on Friday, “Destiny picked up a bit of a knock last week and not available for tomorrow.” “You shouldn’t take it too seriously. Must return [for the following game].”
