Done deal; as Mohamed Salah replacement found Kylian Mbappe move to Liverpool !!Finalized!! on a “loan” deal

When it comes to adequately replacing Mohamed Salah in this group, Liverpool has two key issues to take into account.

First off, being one of the best players in the world, few players can match what the Egypt international does for the Reds, and the fact that he is the club’s top scorer during the Premier League era and ranks fifth all-time attests to that.

As a result, it would be nearly hard for any team to add another player who could produce the same results. The star of Paris Saint-Germain Kylian Mbappe may be the only player who can claim to be a successful replacement. And that’s before we consider the fact that Salah is positioned on the left rather than the right, where the France international prefers to operate.

The two players most’similar’ to Salah, according to the scouting tool Fbref, are Donyell Malen of Borussia Dortmund and Moussa Diaby of Aston Villa, neither of whom would be out of the Reds’ reach. Whether they can fill the vacuum left by Salah in terms of goal scoring is the question.

While Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli was one of the best in all of Europe last season as he led the Italians to the Serie A triumph, Kaoru Mitoma of Brighton is a young wideman of real Premier League class. Although their numbers are dwarfed by Salah’s and they are both most effective on the left, both players would be thrilling acquisitions that would have fans on the edge of their seats.

While there are surely some promising young wingers in the world of football, the Reds are unlikely to find a like-for-like replacement. Thus, they could consider using the funds obtained for Salah to bolster the team in a similar manner to how the 2018 acquisitions of Fabinho, Alisson Becker, and Virgil van Dijk made it easier for Philippe Coutinho to leave.

The Reds’ other problem is that they currently have four forwards in their lineup in addition to Salah, so if they make more purchases up top, they face the danger of those players not seeing as much action as they would want. So what exactly does Liverpool do here? Try to match items as closely as you can, or should you purchase potential and use the remaining dollars to other uses?
