Today is also my daughter’s birthday, which I’m celebrating. She is now 17 years old, the same age as I was in the fall of 1982 when I first saw you and The Who at the LA Colosseum. I finally got around to reading your book at this hectic time, and it brought back a ton of memories of summers spent as a child staying in a Shepherd’s Bush house with my family.
