With a hard-fought 3-1 win over West Ham at Anfield, Liverpool maintained their unbeaten start and moved up to second in the Premier League rankings.

After the game, Klopp highlighted Nunez’s individual growth. “Massive steps in the last few weeks,” he stated. “He poses a threat.” The main difference is the defensive effort he does for us. He’s always wanted to do it, but now it’s more organized.”
West Ham had chances throughout and competed hard before succumbing to their second consecutive defeat, the first coming against Manchester City. They are now ranked seventh.
Liverpool’s sixth consecutive Premier League victory extends their unbeaten start to the season, and they stay two points behind leaders Manchester City.
