With a £50 million price tag, Aston Villa express interest in a Chelsea player as Chelsea gave their reply

Four Premier League teams are apparently eyeing Armando Broja, with reports suggesting the striker may leave Chelsea this month. Aston Villa is one of those teams.

Broja is on Chelsea’s list of possible departures from Stamford Bridge as the club looks to raise money after making large purchases. Conor Gallagher, an academy graduate who has been connected to Tottenham, is one player who could be susceptible to transfer moves because Broja’s sale would be entirely profitable for the team.

Fulham, who need a striker badly, has also been strongly connected to a move for the 22-year-old; however, they are only considering a loan arrangement. GiveMeSport has been informed by journalist Ben Jacobs that Aston Villa is considering pursuing Broja.

The connections to Villa are noteworthy, particularly in light of Jhon Duran’s purported interest from Chelsea. Since coming to Villa Park in the summer, the 20-year-old has only made 14 appearances in the Premier League, always starting behind Ollie Watkins.

Duran has not received any offers as of yet, but his departure would require a replacement. According to reports, Chelsea may want for £50 million for Broja, but Jacobs believes that offers around £35 million would force Stamford Bridge officials to negotiate.
