Wolves Confirmed line up and team news against Tottenham

Due to injuries, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou will need to make at least a few changes against Wolves.

Ange Postecoglou, the Tottenham manager, is forced to shift his group for this afternoon’s visit from Wolves, without both Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie. Express Sport goes over Tottenham’s probable starting lineup at the London Stadium as they look to win three straight games.

Vicario Guglielmo, goalie Vicario has established himself as a regular in the Tottenham goal, but he hasn’t kept a clean sheet in the Premier League since before Christmas. Since joining from Empoli in the summer, the 27-year-old Italian has made 24 appearances for the team. Postecoglou will be hoping that the goalie stays healthy following Fraser Forster’s foot fracture during training, which might keep him out for a “couple of months.”

Royal, Van de Ven, Romero, and Dragusin in defense

Right-back Pedro Porro will be out of commission for “a couple of weeks” due to a strain sustained during training. Porro’s successor may be Brazilian Emerson Royal, who has made nine substitute appearances in addition to seven starts. With Udogie sidelined due to an injury, Postecoglou may opt to start with three at the back against a Wolves team devoid of goals.

Postecoglou recently opted for a back four, so it’s unclear if he’s inclined to go to a back three. Radu Dragusin, a January acquisition, might make his debut as a member of a reorganized Tottenham defense.

Sarr and Betancur in midfield

Following their victory against Brighton last weekend, Postecoglou might stick with their defensive midfield duo of Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Sarr. Sarr, a Senegalese midfielder, scored the game’s equalizer against Brighton, however Yves Bissouma may cause either midfielder to lose their starting position.

After replacing Dejan Kulusevski on the bench the previous weekend, Bissouma may be used as a more forward three or as one of the holding two players behind Richarlison. After the African Cup of Nations, the Mali international returned, but he is probably going to be benched in favor of Sarr and Bentacur.
