Thomas Müller, a stalwart of Bayern Munich, received a proposal from the Saudi Pro League.

The Saudi Pro League’s director of football previously expressed his desire for Jamal Musiala, a star player for Bayern Munich, to play in the league at some point. After that declaration, it appears that everyone in that league is actively encouraging Bayern players to move. Thomas Müller is a prime example.

Thomas Müller? Carlo Nohra, CEO of the Saudi Pro League? Exactly why not? I would respond to you in that way. Absolutely no one should be off the market; everyone who can improve the league in terms of quality and value is welcome.

Even though Müller is expected to receive a contract extension, Thomas Tuchel has not given him as many opportunities to play as he would have liked. Müller being anyplace other than Bayern simply does not make sense. To try and free Tommy from the Munich club’s control will also require a lot of persuasion or money.
