The final session of the BetVictor Welsh Open, which takes place this month in North Wales with the world’s best pool players, has already sold out!
All other sessions of the world ranking event at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, including the afternoon session of the final on Sunday, February 18, still have tickets available.
In the thrilling final of the previous year, Milkins defeated Murphy 9–7 to claim the greatest title of his career. “It was simply unbelievable; I never could have imagined it a year ago,” Milkins said, reflecting on the occasion that brought him the renowned Ray Reardon Trophy and £230,000, as the victory also secured him the BetVictor Series bonus.
“I had a wide range of emotions during the final. It was a huge relief to hold myself together after making a fantastic break to win the final frame. I will always remember being able to rejoice with my family there. I wanted my kids there with me because you never know whether you’ll get to see another chance.”
